Professor of Physics at the Centre for Space Research,  Department of Physics, North-West University. My primary research interests lie within the general framework of theoretical cosmology and gravitational physics. I obtained my PhD and MSc degrees in cosmology from the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, University of Cape Town, and my BSc degree in physics (with a minor in mathematics) from Addis Ababa University.
